QIP: If not completed in ST1, this needs to be completed in ST2

CSR: When in a GP Post, CSR will need completing if either:

  • Clinical Supervisor is in a different practice to Educational Supervisor
  • ePortfolio doesn’t give enough evidence where the CSR would be able to provide the missing information
  • trainee or supervisor agree that it’s required.

The Educational Supervisor looks after your placement for the whole year in GP post and Hospital Post.

The Clinical Supervisor looks after you within your placement block.

Your Educational Supervisor may also be your Clinical Supervisor if your GP post is at their practice.

MiniCEX should be assessed by your clinical supervisor.

Other assessments can be completed by a doctor who is at level of ST4 or above or SAS equivalent.

You should NOT be assessed by another GP trainee or a speciality trainee at a similar stage of training.
